Discover God's Call

 is a spiritual growth event, called a retreat, that may be held in either a church or more traditional retreat setting. The focus of the retreat, along with the personal study completed prior to the retreat, is designed to assist new participants with identifying their spiritual gifts. Retreat staff members are primarily lay leaders who have attended Discover God's Call previously. New participants are guided through a process that helps them clarify how their spiritual gifts may be effectively used in ministry within the local church and within their community.

The Pre-retreat Study:

 Your excitement will build as you commit to a short daily study for 15 days prior to the retreat. Using scripture, a workbook for your personal responses, recorded messages, moving testimonies, and completing a spiritual gifts inventory, you will begin to sense God's will for you.

The Retreat:

From the warm welcome you receive upon arrival through the challenging commitment service, you are stepping into an environment designed to help you hear God's call.

There will be inspirational messages by anointed speakers; small groups with friendly, perceptive leaders; encouragement; solitude where you can be alone with God; time for sharing of personal progress; fellowship and celebration in worship with other committed Christians. You will be made alive by discovering your spiritual gifts and hearing God's call to use these gifts through the presence of the Holy Spirit.
